Zhishan America
Zhishan America supports programs that promote the well-being, education, and development of infants, children, and young adults in underserved and remote communities in Taiwan. Through fundraising, outreach, education, advocacy, and professional collaboration, we connect resources and expertise in the United States with Zhishan’s work in Taiwan, helping provide sustained care and opportunities for children and families while fostering greater social awareness and humanitarian engagement in our communities.
Zhishan has always operated in remote and challenging areas. In Taiwan, Zhishan has deeply invested in the indigenous communities of Jianshi and Wufeng in Hsinchu, from maternal and child care to education and talent development in tribal areas. We also support and empower indigenous children and women who have relocated to urban areas, helping them regain cultural confidence and achieve economic independence.
For nearly 30 years, Zhishan has upheld the principles of respecting diverse cultures and loving kindness without borders; has rallied grassroots efforts to aid in the development of disadvantaged areas; and aspires towards global unity and benevolence.
How Donations Are Utilized:
Funds raised and managed centrally by Zhishan America will be mainly used for the development of children and youth in the "By your side" plans at key service sites in Taiwan, Vietnam, Yunnan and Myanmar) in Asia.
